My Story provides specialist residential care for children with a range of complex and high acuity needs. Our vision is to develop resilient, responsible, and confident children who aspire to achieve their full potential and live fulfilling adult lives. Our aim is to rebuild the lives of children through our expertise.
Our vision
Our vision is to provide children and young people a secure, supporting and caring environment to assist them to overcome the impact of their early life experiences recognising each child/young person’s own different and specific sets of needs to develop resilience, self-esteem and confidence to aspire to achieve their full potential and to live fulfilling lives.

We care for children and young people who have experienced severe trauma through past abusive encounters. We provide trauma informed, therapeutic services, designed to help children gain stability, develop resilience and to facilitate successful transition.
Our Home
Our home is well organised and maintained offering children and young people a family environment where they can live together as a group with the level of safety, security, and love. Children and young people will be enabled to rebuild their lives, prepare to transition to the next stage of their development, whether to return to their local communities, other services and or return to family if appropriate.
Our Quality
We deliver care that is effective and of high quality delivered by an experienced and qualified team of residential staff who are supported by our contracted clinical psychologist/psychotherapists working with children and young people to understand their experiences and to secure good outcomes.
Our Success
Children and young people will have access to and benefit from individually tailored package of therapeutic support that meets their individual needs. Staff will liaise with the clinical team for guidance on the effective delivery of the therapeutic practice/process. This ensures there is a whole team approach to supporting the best outcomes for the children and young people in our care.
We can inspire children and young people’s futures and transform their lives, encouraging positive relationships with a high emphasis on life enriching opportunities and activities while developing strategies to help children and young people navigate their way through life situations.
